4WT by Nold was established in 2015 by Leo Nold as sole proprietor. His objective was to give you access to his wealth of experience and his global network of specialists, providing you with a tailored, cost-efficient solution.

Leo Nold spent his early years in the mountainous and touristic Swiss Canton of Graubünden before moving to South America for the rest of his youth. When he returned to Switzerland he trained and graduated as a tourism professional (SST – Swiss Tourism School).

He has worked in the event industry since 1989. In diverse management and project management roles – with companies including Credit Suisse, the Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (GDI), Swiss Re and various event agencies – he has been directly and indirectly responsible for organizing over 1,000 small-scale and large-scale international events.

He co-authored the specialist publication "Because it's more than just the first impression that counts: guidelines governing the organisation of events and rules of protocol" (Credit Suisse), a highly regarded guide issued to both the Swiss ambassadors and top military personnel.
